15 weeks until L&S! Devo #3

We missed posting a devotion for last week...
However, here's this week's devotion! We hope you're having a great Monday. The weather on SIFAT's campus has been beautiful today, and we're anticpating summer! We are excited about meeting everyone. Look for a post later this week to see what churches are registered for L&S!

The Plan

He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8

God has saved and called us with a holy calling, not because of anything we have accomplished but because of His own purposes and grace,

which was provided and planned for us in Christ Jesus before the world began. So what’s our part?

He requires each of us to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly. In all of our ways we are to love and serve Him with all of our heart and soul

and keep His commands. In essence, our plan should be His Plan, which is The Plan.

17 weeks until L&S! Monday Devo #2

Time

Ecclesiastes 3:1,9-13 (New International Version)

“1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

9 What does the worker gain from his toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on men. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. 13 That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God.”

Time is very important to us. We all set aside a time for certain things in our lives. God has given each of us time to fulfill the purpose that He has for us on this earth. The place is here and the time is now to change a life around you. Will you take the time?
